Jetta (real name Jetta John-Hartley) is an English indie pop and rock singer based in London, Liverpool and Los Angeles. Her song "Feels Like Coming Home" was chosen as the soundtrack for the Google ''Zeitgeist 2013 - Year In Review''〔 spot which gained over 31 million views.〔〔 The song was made available on iTunes and Spotify on December 13, 2013. Jetta appeared at the 2014 SXSW music festival in Austin, TX.〔〔〔 ==Background== Jetta comes from a musical family; her mother, Jennifer John,〔 was the Irish singer and "Sense of Sound" founder, an a cappella quartet, and her father was a sound engineer. She was discovered by Paloma Faith's tour manager who arranged for her to tour with Faith as a backing singer.〔〔 She also sang backing vocals for CeeLo Green for some concerts, including a show at London's Wembley Stadium. She started her solo career by releasing "Start a Riot", which was named "Single of the Week" on iTunes.〔 Her "Crescendo" EP was produced by Pharrell, who discovered her after watching the homemade video for "Start a Riot".〔〔〔 In 2014 her cover of Ten Years After's song "I'd Love To Change The World" was used in a trailer for "Dawn of the Planet of the Apes,", the first trailer for the movie "Terminator Genisys" and in the first episode of the fourth season of cbs' tv series "person of interest".
